The room was clean, and the king-size bed provided a good night's sleep. the recently refinished bathroom was a nice touch. the hot breakfast, though okay, could use some improvement in the coffee department. the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and out process. The housekeeping service was attentive and kept the room in top condition. However, it was slightly unsettling that they would open the door without warning, compromising privacy. the hotel's location near recreational and cultural sites like the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest added to the appeal of the stay. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as early check-out reminders and pet concerns, Quality Inn Salem - I-81 offers a decent and affordable stay. the seasonal outdoor pool is a nice touch, especially for families. the free WiFi throughout the hotel was convenient for staying connected.
